But once you’ve taken the plunge and picked out the model for you, how do you go about installing your sauna?
Proximity to the Store
It may be worth having one of our experts install your sauna for you! Each of our stores offers a ‘build option’, and so long as you live within 100km, an engineer will come to your property and assemble your sauna.
If you have opted for the Sanctuary 1 model you can simply plug it in yourself, otherwise our electricians will do all of the work with the electrical connections.
Different models of sauna come with different electrical requirements, and although running costs are low regardless of the model you choose, the largest models do require more power.
Modular Construction
If you live outside the 100km radius of a store, you will be able to take advantage of the modular construction process to put your new sauna together yourself. Before you make the order, confirm there is the right amount of space available.
The sauna will come as a series of parts that clip together before being screwed into place. It is a straightforward process, and a sauna can be assembled, disassembled and assembled again with minimal difficulty.
The glues used are all water-based, and everything is pre-glued for you. We are proud of the fact that all of our products are very low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds), meaning you won’t be breathing in anything harmful once the sauna is actually heated up.
The average time it takes to assemble a Clearlight® infrared sauna is between 20 minutes and half an hour.
We take great care in the shipping of our products to you wherever you are in the province, and you should expect to receive all the parts of your sauna in perfect condition.
However, if for any reason one of your parts is damaged or in an unsatisfactory condition, our modular construction method makes replacing it very straightforward. All we need to ship you is that one particular part, meaning we can get it out to you quickly and easily.
